1. What are cookies
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make sites work — keeping you signed in, remembering preferences — and, less benignly, to track you across the web for advertising. We only do the first kind.
2. What BeauCV uses
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Type |
|---|---|---|---|
| a_session_6a95c86e00134aa90315 | Keeps you signed in across pages | 1 year | Essential · first-party |
| a_session_6a95c86e00134aa90315_legacy | Same session token, kept for older browsers | 1 year | Essential · first-party |
Both cookies are set by our backend platform (Appwrite) on api.beaucv.fr; they are httpOnly, Secure and first-party. We use no analytics at all: no Google Analytics, no Facebook Pixel, no third-party tracker of any kind. Your browser's local storage additionally holds your in-progress résumé draft, your preference choices and, when your browser blocks cookies, a fallback copy of the session token (cookieFallback).
3. Your choices
Because we only set cookies that are strictly necessary for sign-in, no consent banner is required under the ePrivacy Directive or the CNIL guidelines. You can still clear cookies from your browser settings at any time; you'll just need to sign in again afterward.
